Virgin Trains unveils DCA’s interior design proposals for its new Azuma trains
Virgin Trains’ new Azuma trains are a development of the Hitachi Class 800 and 801 trains and are due to enter service on the East Coast Main Line in 2018. DCA has been appointed by Virgin to create new 1st and Std Class passenger interiors for these new trains that embody the Virgin Trains brand and reflect their customers’ aspirations for this new service offer.
As part of the unveiling ceremony, DCA’s initial design proposals for the new interiors were released to the public for the first time and received an extremely positive response.
Over the next few months we will be working closely with Virgin Trains and their suppliers to refine and realise these new and exciting interior designs.
