Rail magazine exclusively reveals details of the IEP mock up

In the April 16 – April 29 edition, Rail magazine has revealed a first glimpse of the Class 800/801 train to the UK public.
In an article written by Paul Prentice following his visit to DCA’s full size, 30 metre mock up at our Warwick workshop premises on 4th April 2014, Rail magazine has provided a first overview of the proposed designs for the passenger interior spaces on the new Class 800/801 trains. The article also includes the first images of the new Class 800/801 passenger interiors approved for publication, showing both 1st and Standard Class sections of the mock up.
To conceive a pack intended to create a sense of magic and delight for the consumer is one thing. To engineer this sensorial experience for the user, in a high volume low cost product is where the ‘magic’ is delivered. At DCA we call this ‘Engineering the experience’.
