Dan Jenkins talks to The Ergonomist about the human factors in design

DCA’s Research skill leader, Dr Dan Jenkins, discusses how the role of human factors within design is changing.
He discusses three challenges to overcome when creating a positive impact on products, gaining (1) a place on the design team, (2) influence in the design team, and (3) understanding how to improve the system.
Dan will be expanding on this article, when he delivered the keynote address at the Product Design Symposium at this year’s Ergonomics and Human Factors conference.
