Xiamen Golden Dragon and their suppliers visit DCA

Towards the end of 2015, a team from Xiamen Golden Dragon, one of the largest bus and coach builders in China, and four of its key suppliers visited DCA’s Warwick studios and mock up build facilities. This visit reinforced our co-operation on the development of a new generation of luxury coaches, providing an opportunity to discuss the new design face-to-face rather than via video conferences.
To help Xiamen Golden Dragon benchmark quality and forge new business relations, DCA arranged and attended joint visits to a selection of our preferred UK transport industry suppliers. These visits gave the suppliers an opportunity to introduce their capabilities, new materials and production methods.
Before Xiamen Golden Dragon returned to China, a design freeze was reached and work has now begun with all parties to develop the design for production, ready to launch the new line of vehicles in 2016.
